Tajweed & Quran Recitation
- Audience
- All Ages

- Arabic / English
Tajweed is the set of rules that governs how the Qur'an is recited — where each letter is pronounced from, how long a vowel is held, and where a reciter may pause. Applied consistently, it is what turns reading Arabic words into reciting the Qur'an the way it was received.
This track teaches those rules in order, one correction at a time. Each learner is placed at their own level in the first lesson, then works through articulation, letter characteristics and the rules of recitation with a teacher listening to them live — which is the only way pronunciation actually improves.
Lessons are one-on-one, so the pace follows the learner rather than a class. Sessions are available in Arabic or English, and scheduling is matched to your local timezone.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to already read Arabic to start?
No. Beginner levels start from recognising and joining letters, then move into recitation rules. The first lesson is used to place you at the right starting point.
Is Tajweed suitable for children?
Yes — the course is open to all ages, and the teacher adjusts pace and method to the learner. Many families enrol children who are beginning to read the Qur'an.
How long does the course take?
There is no fixed duration. Progress depends on the starting level, how much the learner practises between sessions, and how many lessons are taken each month.
How are lessons scheduled?
Sessions are one-on-one and booked to your local timezone during signup, including after-school and weekend slots.
